Utrecht RPG Extravaganza! is a face-to-face gaming group in Utrecht, the Netherlands. We play all kinds of tabletop roleplaying games in a safe and welcoming environment.
We organize regular public events. Anyone can join, no matter how long they have been playing or how experienced they are.
Join in three easy steps
Step 1: sign up for a free Playabl account
We use Playabl, an online community calendar, for signups. Check it out to see what games are coming up. If you’d like to RSVP for a game, you’ll need to make an account.
Step 2: join the community
Now that you have a Playabl account, you can join the Utrecht RPG Extravaganza community. Joining the community will give you access to all the extravagant games ran by our members.
The way Playabl is set up, we’ll need to confirm your request. We aim to handle requests within a day.
Step 3: come to one of our monthly meetups
This step is optional, but we’d love to meet you! Our monthly Utrecht RPG Extravaganza is a place for members to get acquainted and enjoy each other’s company—while playing games, of course.
The meetups are beginner friendly. All the games are one shots: games that are played in one session, in one afternoon. It’s a great way to try out roleplaying games if you’re curious.

If you’re feeling anxious about trying something new and afraid to do something wrong, just know that you’re welcome. Yes, you. We mean it. We have all we need to play and we’ll help each others out before and during the games.
This is not about knowing all the rules and telling the best story ever heard. It’s about having fun telling a story, together.
All our games use safety tools like the X-card and Lines & Veils. No game is more important than its players.
